Lasik Eye

LASIK (Laser-Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis) is a popular laser eye surgery used to correct vision problems such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism. The procedure involves reshaping the cornea, the clear front part of the eye, to allow light entering the eye to focus properly on the retina for clearer vision.

Lens Replacement

Lens replacement, also known as refractive lens exchange (RLE) or lens replacement surgery, is a procedure in which the eye’s natural lens is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). This surgery is typically performed to correct vision problems such as severe nearsightedness, farsightedness, or presbyopia, and is similar to cataract surgery, though in this case, the natural lens is replaced for refractive purposes rather than due to clouding.

Vitrectomy

Vitrectomy is a surgical procedure performed on the eye to remove the vitreous gel, which is the clear, gel-like substance that fills the space between the lens and the retina. This surgery is typically done to treat various eye conditions, including retinal detachment, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, or severe eye infections, as well as to remove blood or debris from the eye.
